It’s been 12 years, 3 months, 2 weeks, 4 days since we started the Londa journey…but who’s counting. (*psst* The correct answer is “No one” *end psst*). It must be less since we run the survey that started all this in April this year but it feels like eons ago. Survey results here

The journey has been nothing like we anticipated – the software bugs, the coffee that won’t keep you up, the real, real bugs that bite, the questions about whether there’s a point to going on, re-working features completely and a lot more – all that stuff has moved the delivery timeline several times.

Building something that’s looks good both on the inside (since the source code of Londa is open) and the outside (since the user needs to enjoy using it) was something we underestimated. We also didn’t take into proper account the hurdles in getting some of the information we initially hoped to work with. All that’s water under the bridge now. We are live…*wipes brow*

Let us know what you think. Thanks a lot for being a part of this journey.

We still need you though; there are still features to be suggested (by you), features to build (by you & us), Londa app stories and copy to change (still, you my friend), cups of coffee to drink, huge Christmas dinners to have, you know, the works. We can’t do this without you. We do hope you can throw your weight behind something. *That’s not a jibe at your weight. You look great BTW!*

In the words of Maria Theresa, “Being a part of building your nation is pretty cool.” We might be paraphrasing or misquoting or making it up completely but you do get the drift no? Great! We hope you’ll pitch in somewhere. Here’s a form to join:
